Livestation now top download on apple.com

After launching the Livestation Mac player (beta) last week (with some great new features), it is now the top download on apple.com. For Mac users it is currently more popular than Firefox, Messenger and Google Earth to name a few.
Congratulation to the folks at Livestation, truly amazing how quickly you got to the top. Now the hard work is just beginning. You will need to cope with issues arisising from quick flash of new users… being system availability and meeting expectations.
Already, current users of Livestation have felt the higher demand on the backend systems that have been much less responsive… when not totally dead. Livestation is currently working around the clock to add more server power to cope with the added users.
There has also been multiple report of application crash. Here again Livestation staff has been working on a new client release that should address those issues.
I was told that a Mac PPC version was successfully compiled (took like 5 hours) on a G4 system and should be made available after more testing is done.
