Microsoft LiveStation can run on an Intel iMac

I am amazed! I just got my invitation to LiveStation and was shocked to find out it was not supported under Mac. Tough I said. Let see ho it will runder under Parallels desktop for Mac.

To my surprise it run just fine! Actually I was even able to capture this YouTube video in realtime directly to h.264 as it was running! I did this on my iMac 17″ 2 Ghz Core 2 Duo with 2GB of RAM.

LiveStation is providing an amazing video quality at only 256kbps of bandwidth.

There is not much to watch at this point… only one BBC UK live stream.

I will write more about it later. For now enjoy the YouTube video:

Unfortunately LiveStation does not allow it’s current beta testers to invite others. If they do one day I will send you one. Until then you can try to register on beta.livestation.com and hope to receive one.
