YouTube mobile now a reality
Back in 2006 YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley said at the OgilvyOne Digital Summit that YouTube would launch a service for mobile phones in 2007.
YouTube already have a mobile service to some extent: YouTube To Go launched in May 2006 and lets users upload clips from cellphones. That’s a pretty standard feature on video-sharing site.
What we are talking about here is a full fledge video playback site for mobile device. Be warn that YouTube Mobile is a data intensive application. YouTube highly recommend that you upgrade to an unlimited data plan with your mobile service provider to avoid additional charges before using it’s service intensivelly.
