Joost mass email went out on or around March 15 2007

Many folks still waiting to become Joost beta testers have reported to have received the following email:

«This is just to let you know that we haven’t forgotten your request to try Joost. We’re now speeding up the process of adding testers and we’ll shortly be inviting everyone who has signed up to try Joost. This includes you, so expect an invite within the next couple of weeks – in the meantime, thanks for bearing with us – we appreciate it. See you soon on Joost!» - The Joost Team

This was not what Eric Clemencau thought would happen on the 15… Most likely there has been some issue deploying enough servers to accommodate the new beta testers on the 15. Maybe Joost also wanted to release the new beta client 0.9.0 before adding many more users to resolve the video stuterring issue discovered with 0.8.1.

So an email went out instead to let people know that there was still hope. Overall a positive move for the poor souls still anxiously waiting for an invitation token.
